About The Event

Black Leaders Awareness Day is celebrated annually on the 18th of July. This is a day of reflection and recognition of the impact that black leaders have on a world that is truly diverse and inclusive. As we recognise our past and the role it plays in our future, we also celebrate our current black leaders. We are delighted to celebrate our theme this year of 'the Author's Edition' with three amazing guest speakers who are new authors:

Dr. Leanne Armitage, Tony Fairweather & Rene Germain.

6.30pm: Welcome and set the scene - Why an Annual Black Leaders Awareness Day by Veronica Martin OBE 

6.40pm: Why this year's theme is 'Author's Edition' by Junior Nathaniel Small   

6.50pm: Dr. Leanne Armitage - Power of A Dream 

7.05pm: Rene Germain - Black and Great 

7.20pm: Tony Fairweather - Twenty-Eight Pounds Ten Shillings 

7.35pm: Thank you to the Authors and open for Q & A
